Diana Washington, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Twin Cities-based Sweeties Home Care, LLC. Sweeties Home Care is a visionary leader with a deep commitment to providing community-based services. Diana identified a critical need for high-quality care services for individuals with developmental disabilities, mental illness, and the elderly, and she dedicated her career to meeting this need. Through her unwavering dedication and entrepreneurial spirit, she has built a successful and impactful business.
In 2019, Diana founded Sweeties Home Care, a licensed Personal Care Agency that offers in-home services to persons who needed help with their daily living, developmental disabilities, mental illness, and the elderly. Under her leadership, the company has grown to operate assisted living sites within the Twin Cities area, providing essential services and support to many individuals and families.
Diana’s commitment to serving those with disabilities and mental illness stems from her early life experiences. As a child, watching over her elderly relatives, trying to educate and convince her grandmother how important , and helpful these services will be to help care for her grandfather through his Alzheimer’s disease which put a strain on her daily living for herself . Which is where she gained a big heart for this population. These experiences instilled in her a profound sense of empathy and a desire to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable populations.
